Excellence in ESG©℠ ESG strategy and reporting - course, training for Owners and TOP Managers

ESG is a strategy and a competitive advantage - prepare your company for CSRD, ESRS or VSME before your competitors do.

Excellence in ESG©℠ - certified ESG training for CEOs, owners and successors. As of 2024, the CSRD and ESRS standards are the present, not the future. If you're an owner or board member, you need to know how regulations affect your business, financing and reputation.
Form of choice: live online classes with a trainer (Zoom/Teams) or onsite in Krakow. Participants receive access to a platform with ESG materials and tools for implementation.

Who is the ESG Excellence in ESG©℠ certified training for?

  • business owners and board members,
  • CEOs, COOs, CFOs and HR directors,
  • strategy, risk and development managers,
  • eSG and sustainability transformation leaders.

Participation is for top executives only.

Why it's worth it - the business implications of ESG for boards of directors

  • ESG impacts access to finance and cost of capital,
  • determines presence in supply chains and terms of collaboration,
  • shapes a company's reputation and credibility,
  • becomes a prerequisite for competitiveness in the new regulatory economy.

What will you gain from the ESG Excellence in ESG©℠ training?

  • you will conduct an ESG maturity audit (gap analysis) in your organization,
  • you will understand ESRS standards and the logic of CSRD reporting,
  • you will develop an initial action plan (goals, indicators, responsibilities, deadlines),
  • you will exchange experiences with other TOP managers,
  • you will receive implementation tools (checklists, data maps, policy templates).

What are the responsibilities and implications of ESG reporting?

In light of the CSRD and ESRS standards (implemented into Polish law, among others, by the amendment to the Accounting Act), medium and large companies are subject to sustainability reporting. This means, among other things:

  • disclosures not only of environmental, but also of labor, social and corporate governance,
  • the need to have consistent policies, processes, indicators and controls,
  • the risk of losing financing, contracts and reputation in the absence of preparation.

What does the ESG training program cover?

  • creation and cascading of ESG strategies in practice,
  • compliance with CSRD, ESRS and EFRAG guidelines,
  • integration of ESG with risk management, HR and organizational culture,
  • data collection systems, quality control and report trail,
  • case analysis, benchmarks and implementation best practices.

What is the format of the Excellence in ESG©℠ training?

The training is conducted as a strategy workshop for management and business owners. You choose the mode:

  • online live - moderated meeting on Zoom/Teams, working on tools and documents,
  • stationary in Krakow - an intensive workshop with exercises and networking.

In both modes, you get access to a platform with ESG materials and tools (checklists, templates, data maps, governance diagrams) to support post-training implementation.

Compliance and certification - EQF level 6, WRL

  • the program complies with the European Qualifications Framework (EQF) - level 6,
  • reference to World Reference Levels (WRL),
  • certificate of completion of training confirming the scope of competence in a standard recognized in the market.

The certificate facilitates communication of ESG competencies to stakeholders: the board, banks, investors, customers and employees.

What can you do from tomorrow in terms of ESG - even without training?

  • check if your company is subject to CSRD and since when,
  • identify 5-7 key ESG indicators in your industry,
  • determine what data you already collect and where the gaps are (data map),
  • arrange a CEO-CFO-HR-ESG meeting on report readiness,
  • write down 3 ESG targets for implementation in 2025 (responsible, deadlines, measures).

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

What is the February 2025 OMNIBUS package and how does it affect ESG?

The OMNIBUS package is a February 2025 initiative by the European Commission to simplify and relax ESG reporting obligations. Among other things, it assumes a delay in the application of some ESRS standards, simplification for subsidiaries, and alignment of requirements with the capabilities of mid-sized companies. ESG is not being phased out - but it is becoming more proportionate and enforceable.

What changes in the European Union are affecting ESG strategy today?

The most important are: the current CSRD, the final ESRS standards (developed by EFRAG), the draft CSDD on due diligence in supply chains, and the simplifications from the OMNIBUS package. All of these changes require boards and business owners to prepare an ESG strategy and an integrated reporting system.

Does ESG apply to SMEs?

Most small and medium-sized companies do not have a direct ESG reporting obligation under the CSRD. However, ESG does affect them indirectly - through the requirements of business partners, financial institutions and participation in supply chains. That's why it's worth considering a voluntary VSME standard that gives you the opportunity to prepare for market expectations in a proportionate and scale-appropriate way.

What is VSME and does it apply to my company?

VSME (Voluntary Standard for SMEs) is a voluntary, simplified ESG reporting standard for small and medium-sized companies. Developed by EFRAG, it is designed to help companies that are not required to report, but work with large entities or financial institutions. VSME makes it possible to prepare for market expectations without excessive burden.

Does this training cover the latest legislative changes?

Yes. The course includes a discussion of current legislation, including the OMNIBUS package, ESRS standards, the CSRD, the Simplified Requirements for SMEs (VSME), as well as practical aspects of implementing and reporting ESG in accordance with current legislation and market requirements.

In what form is the training provided?

We announce the training simultaneously in a stationary formula in Krakow and online, to give participants the freedom to choose the most convenient form. This allows everyone to adjust participation to their needs and abilities. If it happens that one of the groups - such as the stationary one - does not run, participants will be given the opportunity to join the online edition. The remote form is fully interactive, providing the same level of activity, discussion and practical exercises as the desktop training.
