Excellence in ESG©℠ ESG strategy and reporting for HR - course, training for HR managers and HRBPs

ESG in HR: pay equity (GPG) and D&I are today's responsibility and advantage - prepare HR for CSRD, ESRS and VSME.

What is the training course "Excellence in ESG©℠ - ESG strategy and reporting for HR (GPG & D&I)?"

Excellence in ESG©℠ is a specialized workshop for HR Managers, HRBPs and HR experts who are responsible for ESG reporting in the area of human capital (ESRS S1) - including the Gender Pay Gap, Diversity & Inclusion, work organization and organizational culture.

We translate CSRD/ESRS requirements into HR practice: from data map and indicators to action plan and communication with management.

For whom is the ESG course for HR - HR Managers, HRBPs and D&I/Comp&Ben experts?

  • for HR directors and managers,
  • for HR Business Partners responsible for ESG data and projects,
  • for D&I, Comp&Ben, organizational culture and talent development experts,
  • for HR teams preparing CSRD/ESRS compliant reports.

Participation is intended for those responsible for the area of human capital and non-financial data.

Why does HR need to know ESG - CSRD/ESRS, the pay gap (GPG) and D&I in practice?

  • HR is responsible for ESG data on employment and wages (ESRS S1),
  • GPG and D&I are the subject of supply chain audits, inspections and due diligence,
  • A voluntary VSME standard has been prepared for SMEs, where also GPG and D&I areas are expected in reports to partners and banks,
  • lack of preparation = risk of loss of financing, contracts and reputation,
  • ESG strengthens HR's position as a strategic partner to the board.

What do you gain as HR - GPG, D&I and ESG reporting in one plan?

  • Audit of HR processes under ESG (data, gaps, risks, priorities),
  • understanding ESRS S1 (own workforce) and CSRD reporting logic,
  • Action plan for implementation - who, what, when, what indicators,
  • gPG/D&I benchmarks and examples, and implementation checklists,
  • ready-to-use tools (data map, indicator matrix, policy templates).

ESG in HR - what to report in the area of GPG, D&I and organizational culture?

  • Gender Pay Gap (GPG) - pay differences (median/mean), adjustments and corrective actions,
  • Diversity & Inclusion - representation, promotions, retention, accessibility,
  • Comp&Ben - transparency of forks, salary structure, rules for raises,
  • Work design - flexibility, safety, health & safety-psychosocial, wellbeing,
  • Culture - values, ethics, social dialogue, anti-discrimination, complaints and actions.

How to measure the wage gap (GPG) in HR - steps and best practices?

  1. Define the population (FTE, period, exclusions, part-time),
  2. Align salaries (gross annual, bonus conversions),
  3. Group roles (job families/levels) - compare similar positions,
  4. Calculate GPG (median/mean) overall and per group,
  5. Explain differences (seniority, role, location) - reject bias,
  6. Determine actions (correction schedule, policies, communication).

Tip: combine GPG analysis with D&I review (promotions, raises, retention) - this gives a complete picture of equality.

What is the formula for ESG training for HR - stationary in Krakow or live online?

  • stationary workshop in Krakow conducted by ESG & HR experts,
  • live online classes (Zoom/Teams) - full interactivity and work on ESG tools,
  • case studies of GPG/D&I reporting and implementations,
  • toolbox: data maps, indicator matrices, policy and plan templates.

Participants choose the form of participation. If the stationary group does not take off, we guarantee participation in an online formula - equally active and engaging.

What can you do from tomorrow in HR - even without attending the training?

  • Create a data source map (payroll, HR, ATS, LMS) and define the responsible ones,
  • Count the initial median/mean GPG (overall and in the top 3 groups),
  • Add salary fork and bias check point to recruitment policy,
  • Implement HR ESG quarterly report (GPG, promotions, retention, wellbeing),
  • Offer management a GPG/D&I target (e.g. -2 pp in 12 months) and a plan for adjustments.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Why should HR be concerned with ESG at all?

Because it is HR that is responsible for the data and processes that fall under the "S" (social) and partly "G" (governance) pillar in ESG reports. It is HR that collects information on employment, compensation, pay equity (GPG), organizational culture or D&I activities. As of 2024, the CSRD and ESRS standards are in force - companies must report them, and HR is a key source of data here.

What specifically will I learn at the training?

After the training, you will know how to audit your own HR processes in terms of ESG, count and interpret the pay gap (GPG), plan D&I activities and prepare an ESRS-compliant implementation plan. You will also learn how to collect and present data for ESG reports in practice - both in the CSRD formula and in the simplified VSME standard for SMEs.

Does this translate to my career?

It definitely does. ESG competencies are increasingly required of HR directors and managers. The training will give you practical skills that build your position as a partner to the board and open up access to strategic projects. In many organizations, ESG is even becoming a ticket to promotion.

This sounds theoretical - is the training practical?

The entire training is workshop-based. We work on your real HR processes - from compensation policies to promotion and retention data. Each participant prepares an action plan for their company. You also get ready-made tools: checklists, data maps, policy and procedure templates. This is not a lecture, but practical work with experts and other HR professionals.

What are the real benefits for the company if HR implements ESG?

First - the company is ready for mandatory reporting. Second - employee engagement and employer reputation are improved. Third - credibility with banks, investors and counterparties increases. In short: ESG in HR is not only legal compliance, but also a competitive advantage in the market.

In what form can I take part in the training?

You have a choice: you can come to a stationary workshop in Krakow or connect online live via Zoom/Teams. Both forms are equally interactive - with group work, discussions and ESG tools. If you find that the stationary group doesn't take off, you are guaranteed to participate online so you don't miss anything.
